VRH267 — Safety Notice
VRH267 is a supplemental navigation and safety-awareness tool, NOT an emergency service.
- SOS does not automatically call 112 or dispatch rescue. A triggered alert may not reach any recipient.
- Fall detection, inactivity alerts, off-route warnings and other safety features can fail, be delayed or generate false alerts.
- Maps, GPS, weather and avalanche information can be inaccurate, delayed or unavailable. No alert does not mean no danger.
- Offline maps do not mean offline emergency messaging. Connectivity, battery, permissions and compatible devices may be required.
- You are responsible for checking conditions, carrying suitable equipment, making safe decisions and contacting local emergency services directly when needed.
Recommended acknowledgement text: "I understand that VRH267 is a supplemental tool, that its safety alerts and SOS communications may fail, and that it does not replace calling emergency services or making my own safety decisions."
